For each of 14 grape varietals there is abundant information about taste and flavor and significant growing areas worldwide (which are shown in red on the world map).  The reverse side shows suitable matches for various food styles with a selection of wines from around the world.  For example, if we look up the Grenache grape on the front (left above), we see five categories of information:  Taste and Flavor, Points of Interest (such as "Often blended with Shiraz & Mourvedre"), Significant Growing Countries and Regions, Country of Origin, and Grape Color (basically red or green).  On the back of the wheel (right above), we see three major categorizations:  Dry White, Sweet White, and Dry Red wines.  Within each category we find Light Bodied, Medium Bodied, and Full Bodied (plus Rose under Red).  Nine cells of information then appear for your choice.  For example, if you looked under Dry Whites in the Full Bodied column, you would learn that good food matches include Vegetarian, Japanese, Spicy Asian, Chinese, Pasta, Pizza, Fish (some specifics listed), Pork, Game Birds, Fruit, and Hard Cheeses.  You would also learn specific grape types (such as Chardonnay) and attributes (Rich flavor, pronounced oak).  The World Wine Wheel is $5.50, subject to our minimum order of $11.95.  You can order it in conjunction with other Wine and Food Guides as seen on the following page:  www.bracksco.com/labelsaver.html.  Or call us at 888-327-0637.  (This product is on-order and should arrive shortly.)
