Thanks once again for all your hard work. I've worked on enough reunion committees myself to appreciate the incredible amount of time and effort it takes to pull off something like this, starting with tracking down our classmates, many of whom haven't been seen or heard from for years. And special thanks to Fred for maintaining the website over the years.

For an out-of-towner like me, the three-day format afforded a wonderful opportunity to renew old friendships, and just as important, start some new ones. I was especially happy to see so many first-timers at this one. I know you made a special effort to reach out personally to many of our classmates and encourage them to come.

I'm always reminded at these events of how young people tend to split off into groups at an early age - mainly in elementary school, and how sad this is. But better late than never to all get to know one another. Like I said to one classmate, it was nice to finally chat with her, after only staring at the back of her head for three years in homeroom.

I thought the memorial to our 42 departed classmates was beautifully done. I don't know whose idea it was, but it was perfect, and very touching.

I'm already looking forward to our 55th. I hope that by then we're all still up for something a little more than the seniors lunch buffet at a Chinese restaurant.

Until next time,

Rich

It was a very sentimental and refreshing experience ... picking up conversations with people perhaps left unfinished 50 years ago. And started new conversations with others. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

What a great give the folks who have kept making this happen have given us. If you haven't attended yet, please come to the next reunion so we can catch up with you.

Getting together every five years is something that I look forward to and I cannot imagine the amount of work that goes into the planning of these events. I have attended a number of college reunions and it simply isn't the same as the NHS get-togethers. We were all together during our formative years, and to see what's happened since then and to re-live some of our experiences from those early years is simply refreshing.

Thank you Steve Brown for our "weed-walk" and thank you to the Robeys, Serena, Sandy, Fred and so many others for your hard work and dedication in keeping us together. You are truly an amazing team and I am forever grateful for your efforts. And to Kathy Buckley…you are still an amazing dancer! Hope I was able to keep up the pace!

Kind regards,

Larry
